Where do I track it?
The RepTools tracker reads the forwarder's own portal for these. Generic trackers often mislabel them as YTO. When the local number appears in your agent's parcel page, track that one too.
Why does no carrier recognise my YFD number?
Because it is a forwarder's own reference for the flight out of China, not a carrier's number, so no national post has it. When a local carrier takes over it issues a second number, and that is the one that delivers and that your carrier's site will know.
Why does my tracking number show nothing?
Because the number was created before the parcel left China. Local carriers like Canada Post, USPS and Royal Mail only scan once the parcel lands in your country, usually 4 to 10 days after your agent ships. The RepTools tracker fills that gap with the agent's own China-side scans.
