Terms of Service

1.Who We Are & What RepTools Is

RepTools is a free set of tools and information for people who shop online from overseas marketplaces and third-party shopping agents. We provide convenience utilities such as: a package tracker, a quality-control (QC) photo lookup, an agent-link converter, product listings, and optional email notifications for package updates. RepTools is an information and utility service only.

2.Eligibility & Your Responsibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least the age of digital consent that applies to you) to use the Service. You are solely responsible for your own purchasing decisions and for ensuring that anything you choose to buy, import, or possess is lawful where you live. RepTools provides tools and information only — we do not give legal, customs, financial, or professional advice, and nothing on the Service should be treated as such.

3.The Service Is Provided "As Is" — No Warranties

The Service, and all information, data, estimates, and content made available through it, are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at any particular time, or that any information will be accurate, complete, or current.

You acknowledge that you use any estimate, recommendation, or piece of information from the Service at your own risk, and that RepTools is not responsible for decisions you make based on it.

4.Affiliate Disclosure

Being an affiliate does not mean we control, endorse, or are responsible for the third party's website, pricing, products, shipping, or service. Any transaction you make on a third-party site is solely between you and that third party and is governed by their terms and policies, not ours. The presence or absence of an affiliate relationship does not change our "as is" disclaimers or your responsibility for your own purchases.

5.Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law, regulation, customs rule, or third-party right;
• Submit false, abusive, or fraudulent information (for example, subscribing email addresses you do not own to package notifications);
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, any account, server, database, or admin area, or interfere with or disrupt its operation or security;
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the Service, or hammer our endpoints (including the tracker, QC lookup, or click endpoints) in an automated or excessive way;
• Reverse engineer, copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our written permission;
• Introduce malware, attempt denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise undermine the integrity, performance, or availability of the Service;
• Misuse third-party services we rely on (such as tracking providers, email delivery, or agent sites) through your use of RepTools;
• Use the Service to infringe intellectual property rights or to facilitate any activity that is illegal where you are located.

We may, at our discretion and without notice, limit, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service (in whole or in part) if we believe you have violated these Terms or are misusing the Service.

6.Email Notifications & Communications

If you subscribe to package-update notifications, you provide your email address so we can email you when your tracked package changes status. These are transactional messages tied to the tracking number you submit. Separately, you may optionally opt in to receive occasional marketing or update emails; this opt-in is not required to use the tracker, and you can withdraw it at any time. Every email includes an unsubscribe option, and you can also reach out to us to be removed. For details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

7.Intellectual Property

The RepTools name, logo, original text, layout, design, code, and the selection and arrangement of content on the Service are owned by RepTools or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Third-party content surfaced through the Service — including QC photos, product images, brand and product names, agent and carrier names, and tracking data — remains the property of its respective owners and is shown for identification, reference, and informational purposes only. If you are a rights holder and believe content on the Service infringes your rights, please contact us and we will review and respond.

8.Third-Party Services & Links

The Service depends on, links to, or passes data to independent third parties — for example, tracking providers, shopping agents (including KakoBuy), email delivery services, and analytics providers. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, practices, pricing, products, or policies. Your use of any third-party site or service is at your own risk and is governed by that third party's terms and privacy policy. 9.Limitation of Liability

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or affects any statutory or consumer rights you may have that cannot be waived.

10.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RepTools and its creator and operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or any purchase or activity you carry out through a third party, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11.Changes to the Service & to These Terms

We are constantly improving RepTools and may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, please stop using the Service.

12.Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws applicable at the place where the RepTools operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. Wherever possible we would prefer to resolve any concern informally — please contact us first and we will make a genuine effort to sort it out.

13.Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and RepTools regarding the Service. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service.

14.Intellectual Property & Takedown Requests

The RepTools name, site design, original text, and compiled data (such as our batch listings) belong to RepTools and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, scrape, resell, or republish substantial parts of it without our permission.

QC ("quality-control") photos and certain product images shown through the Service are sourced from shopping agents, sellers, and the community for reference only. We do not claim ownership of those images and make no representation about their copyright status.

Copyright / trademark takedown: If you are a rights holder (or their authorised agent) and believe content on RepTools infringes your copyright or trademark, email lude@rep.tools (or message @lude5 on Discord) with: (1) identification of the protected work; (2) the URL or location of the material on RepTools; (3) your contact details; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law; and (5) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on the rights holder's behalf. We review valid notices and promptly remove or disable access to the identified material.
